3 Day First Aid At Work Includes AED Training.

This course is a level 3 regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a First Aider in their workplace. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities.

Over a 3 day period, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of First Aid situations including:-

• The Aims and Role of the First Aider
• Minimising infections
• Recording accidents & incidents
• Primary and Secondary Surveys
• Unconsciousness Casualty including Recovery Position
• Adult CPR & AED
• Choking
• Anaphylaxis, Poisons, Asthma and Chest Trauma
• Heart Attacks and Stroke Patients
• Wound Management and Bleeding
• Burns and Scalds
• Sprains, Strains, and Fractures
• Diabetic Emergencies and Seizures
