This course Is the same as our QA Level 3 Award In First Aid At Work Includes AED Training

course, however, the first day is delivered via e-learning before you attend the 2-day face to face training, Making it a greener, more convenient course for learners.

What you’ll learn

Over a 3 day period, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of First Aid situations including:-

The Aims and Role of the First Aider
Minimising infections
Recording accidents & incidents
Primary and Secondary Surveys
Unconsciousness Casualty including Recovery Position
Adult CPR & AED
Choking
Anaphylaxis, Poisons, Asthma and Chest Trauma
Heart Attacks and Stroke Patients
Wound Management and Bleeding
Burns and Scalds
Sprains, Strains, and Fractures
Diabetic Emergencies and Seizures

Attendance & course information

This is a full 3 day first aid at work courses delivered as a blended option. Completion of the online e-learning is mandatory 48 hours before the 2 days face to face teaching to gain qualification.

Refreshments are provided, but delegates are required to bring their own lunch.
