First Aid At Work (Annual Refresher)

Practical first aid training with ACW Medical Services.

Course overview

This course is designed for current First Aiders who already hold valid First Aid Certificate, the HSE recommend that all first aiders attend an annual refresher to prevent skill fade and keep skills up to date.

What you’ll learn

This course runs over a 3.5 hour period. Learners will leave with a renewed confidence having had the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, including:

Any changes to current First Aid Practices.
How to respond Safely, Prompt and Effectively in an Emergency Situation
Unconsciousness Casualty including Recovery Position
Choking
Adult CPR
Safe Use Of AED
Seizures
Wound Management and Bleeding
Shock

Attendance & course information

This course is available on the pre-programmed dates bookable via our website or via email/telephone. This course runs for a total of 18 hours, over 3 days, with 2 days being face to face. Completion of e-learning is mandatory prior to the 2 days face to face teaching to gain qualification
